About the Recipe

Ingredients
16 oz penne pasta (I like to use Barilla Protein Pasta)
15.5 oz Marinara (Rao's)
1/2 cup reduced-fat cottage cheese (2% fat)
1 cup 2% milk (I use Fairlife)
2 lb chicken breast, boneless, skinless
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 oz Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Garlic powder (to taste)
Preparation
Mix cottage cheese, milk, parmesan cheese and garlic powder in a blender until smooth
Pour the mixture into your crockpot, then add the marinara sauce and chicken breasts
Cook until the chicken is fully cooked (on high for 4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours
Once fully cooked, shred the chicken in the crockpot
Cook the pasta on stovetop according to the package directions
Stir the drained pasta into the chicken and sauce and mix well.
Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, mix one more and it's ready to serve.
